Farm to school enriches the connection communities have with fresh, healthy food and local food producers. Students gain access to healthy, local foods as well as education opportunities such as lessons plans and farm tours to learn where their local foods come from.

American Dairy Association North East is dedicated to helping students understand where their milk and dairy foods come from and the role dairy farm families play in producing a wholesome nutritious product that goes from the farm to their schools and homes.
