- The June 1 event in Sinking Spring, Pa., was featured on WFMZ TV Allentown five times.

Summer Meals News Coverage Blankets Major Pennsylvania Cities
ADA North East’s Public Relations team helped promote the following Summer Meals kickoff events in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
- Philadelphia’s June 18 Kickoff event resulted in 17 news stories with a publicity value of $46,833 and 744,167 impressions!
- Pittsburgh’s June 18 event generated 28 news stories with a publicity value of $30,670 and 616,798 impressions!
- Baltimore’s Free Sumer Meals program kickoff was featured in 4 stories on WBAL TV NBC Baltimore and on the station’s website.

Chief Ice Cream Officer Announcement
The Chief Ice Cream Officer was announced on ADA North East’s Instagram on June 18. The Philadelphia Inquirer featured the announcement. The Tribune News Service is syndicating the story making it available to hundreds of news outlets.

ADA North East Sponsors Juneteenth Event
On Saturday, June 15, ADA North East was on-site at Strong Museum in Rochester, N.Y., sponsoring a Juneteenth event that featured a recipe demo by chef Nada Mays, chef hat giveaways, Soulful Creations cookbook recipe cards, Cabot cheese samples and more! The museum opened its doors to 4,370 guests. WROC TV CBS Rochester featured a story on chef Nada Mays.

Checkoff Board Members in the News
ADA North East offers coaching to farmers to prepare for media interviews. Our Industry Relations team helped prepare ADA North East chair Audrey Donahoe for a radio “debate” regarding the health benefits of milk. We also prepared Pennsylvania Dairy Promotion Program chair Lolly Lesher for an interview on keeping cows cool in the summer.
