In “Cows are the Reason,” we meet Rod Hissong, the younger of two brothers who together lead Mercer Vu Farms in Mercersburg, Pa. When the COVID pandemic emptied store shelves, the brothers took action, holding food distribution events to give away butter and milk. Rod says he never loses sight of what matters most – their cows and the community.
